First time I have tried this brand and they didn't disappoint me. I wore them the entire month of November in the north woods of Wisconsin, for both bow and gun seasons. Very easy on and off, comfortable, fairly warm. Good support for a slip on style of boot and very light weight. I did use "toasty toes" in them and artic shield overboots on really cold mornings. Opening day of gun season was -1 and stayed on stand all day. No problems with cold feet.

I purchased these boots for a moose hunting trip to Newfoundland. I found them warm and comfortable, but not at all durable. I had to patch them several times during the 10 day hunt. They might be OK for some hunting situations, but not for rough terrain.

Comments about Muck Boot Woody Max Cold Weather 16" Hunting Boot:
I work at Tyson Foods, Inc. and the temperature has to remain in the "cold" to "very cold" range. I've owned two pairs of Muck boots and the comfort and warmth are to be commended, however the 1st pair started coming apart where the rubber meets the material and started leaking in less than a year. The 2nd pair I just bought on Jan. 4th 2012 and today is Jan. 17th 2012 and are already leaking from ??? Will try to exchange but stock and sizes are always so limited at store.

Returned the boot as it was too tight across the foot. Re-ordered a pair of LaCrosse boots..had LaCrosse before and the fit was right..had heard alot of good reviews about the Muck bot and wanted to try a pair unfortunately the fit wasn;t good.

, comport zone is 60 to -40 F. I personally think that means 50to-10 would be comfortable. I have some and love them, but it's alot colder in Ohio than in Arkansas.Answered on 9/11/2012 by me the newby from Arkansas

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
These boots are effective in not leaving scent behind like most rubber style boots. However, they do not have any inserts with scent eliminators in them such as the Scent Blocker Dream Season boots.Answered on 12/18/2008 by Josh from Gander Mountain
