              This is no way a 100 yard light, it's good for 50 yard's max. Took it back and got the 250 yard light, have not tried it yet.

                          If you're thinking 12 gauge no. 10 gauge maybe. I'm thinking of trying some rubber hose in the clip so I can put it on my 12 gauge for coyotes in the brushier spots I go.
