Product Description
moeller Utilizing Low Permeation Tank Technology, Moeller fuel tanks are EPA low perm certified and conform to all ABYC, NMMA, and USCG regulations. This technology utilizes a proven nylon solution that's fully compatible with ethanol. The below-deck tanks utilize durable marine-grade, rotationally molded, cross-linked polyethylene plastic that's corrosion and pit resistant. Fill spouts, withdrawal, and vent fittings are molded directly into the shell. Machined aluminum 3/8" withdrawal fitting has 360° rotational capability for hook-up convenience.

Tank capacity: 50 gallons. Dimensions: 12.5"W x 45"L x 22"D.

Please note: Hydrocarbon swell causes tanks to expand by 3% in all directions. When measuring, please allow for this expansion as well as an extra 2-1/2" for fittings. Actual fill capacity can vary by +/- 5% of the printed capacity due to how the tank is installed in the boat and variances in the outside temperatures.

I used this tank as storage for veggie oil. I converted my truck to run waste grease for fuel. I easily changed the fuel pickup, but utilized the rest of the fittings (gauge, vent, fill). Very durable structure. I have no doubt that this tank will stand up to the tough northern Minnesota winters.

    I am considering replacing my 80 gallon fiberglass tanks w/2 of these. The glass tanks have baffles. Does the Moeller 50 gallon have them? One review I read indicated that it doesn't. These would be going into a 31' cruiser w/twin 350's.

      These tanks are not designed for diesel because they do not have a return line. We do not recommend relocating the fittings but if you call one of our techs at 800-334-6541 they may be able to special order a tank for you.
