Bought this tool to replace the prop on my boat for the first time. I was afraid it was going to be more of a process than it turned out to be... this was the only tool I needed! The prop wrench works well, and hides away easily on the boat just in case its needed on the water.

Mine stripped out the first time I tried to use it...Unless your prop nut is at least 3 inches long I wouldn't even attempt. Mine has a locking nut with a rounded end. I have no trouble with a socket, so I gave this a try. Oh well. Would be great if the socket sleeve was higher density or metal insert.

Comments about T-H Marine Supplies Prop Master Prop Wrench:
This wrench is lightweight but durable. No worries about it rusting when exposed to water. Made taking my prop nut off easy. Haven't used it yet for my drain plug but I'm sure it will work just as well for that.
Pros
- Easy to Use
- Visually Pleasing
- Works well on drain plug
Cons
- Ineffective
- Not Durable
Best Uses
- Drain Plug
Comments about T-H Marine Supplies Prop Master Prop Wrench:
Works great on drain plug, but if your prop is tightend to factory torque settings (55lbs. on my Mercury) it will strip out the plastic socket when you go to loosen the prop nut. It happened to me the first time I used it. I still use the other side on my drain plug and that part works.

It broke the first time I tried to use it. Good thing it's yellow because it made it easier to find all the shattered pieces.
