This is a replacement mirror. I purchased old mirror in 1997. Old mirror fell off shelf in garage and was crushed under boat trailer wheel, OOPS! It works great for my application. Easy to see skier or tube when in use then remove and its out of the way when fishing. I searched and found this exact mirror and purchased it again.

I own a 2007 Sea Doo Speedster 150. I bought the first one and the mirror fell out when taking it out on the box. I thought the internal ball and socket was like others, al REAL Ball and Socket. They put a big blob of glue inside to try to keep the mirror in place with the glue. The attach plate for the rod going up to the mirror has a small one screw holder. I bought a second one so I could mount them over and under to have a stronger way to hold/secure the post. Then, I added a glue (Goop) to the already glued inside the ball and socket. Then I snapped the mirror back on and put a drop of Goop in each corner. So now I have a secure waterprof mirror and if and when it should fail, I have a second mirror to simply slide in to the mounts - but I had to buy 2 to make one good one @ [$] each.

Comments about Delange & Associates Ski-Image X 2000 Mirror:
New Sea Doo Jet Skis side view mirrors are fixed and can not be adjusted, very poor design if the ski is used for water skiing or wake boarding. The Ski- Image X 2000 Mirror is a inexpensive viable option for safer jet skiing operations...

Q:
While boating this unit shot out the mirror into the lake.
It was a snap in mirror, no fastner, no screws. I tried to find
SKI-IMAGE Of Springfield,MO and their name did not come up in
any of my searches. My hope was to get a replacement mirror or
the complete unit.
I would not recommend this mirror as the company is not available
for parts or replacement.Asked on 6/5/2012 by gordie from Lavonia, GA0 answers

Yes, but wouldn't recommend mounting it that way, might get knocked into or off...vertically adjusts to many heights within about 2 ft. Black powdercoat finishAnswered on 6/28/2010 by Capt. Doc O Great One from Lake Oconee, GA
