The fully adjustable and reversible bracket allows a mounting range of over 300° from overhead, through angled and vertical mounts, to horizontal surfaces. Strong directive force magnets and new lightweight composite dial allow fast performance. Feature 2-1/4" direct read dial with large numerals for easy reading, built-in compensators to correct for deviation, high-impact rubber accent strip, and built-in 12-volt green NiteVu lighting. Comes with exclusive three-year warranty. 3-11/16" dia. x 2-11/16" high with bracket.

    After reading a comment about this compass that says the 3 3/4 inch dimension mentioned in the packaging is misleading and is the "overall" size of the compass not the size hole that is necessary for the compass. I need to know absolutely what size hole would have to be cut for the compass to drop in the hole.

      According to the RITCHIE mounting template found on line at www. ritchienavigation.com the flush mounted Trek TR-35 requires a hole size of 3 - 1/16 inches.
