Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
David C. Pratt was elected Chairman of the Board in December 2006. Mr. Pratt was elected as a director of Gander Mountain in August 2005 and named Vice Chairman of the Board in December 2005. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer in September 2008. Mr. Pratt is the former Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of United Industries, which he founded in 1969. He also is President of Rex Realty in Clayton, Missouri, and is a minority owner of the St. Louis Cardinals major league baseball team. A generous supporter of St. Louis charities, he is on the Board of Directors of the Sisters of Mercy Health System and serves on their executive committee.
Derek Siddons was promoted to the role of President in October 2015. As President, Mr. Siddons is responsible for leading Gander Mountain across all channels of retail and direct operations, including direct responsibility for Merchandising, Marketing, IT and Human Resources. Mr. Siddons has been with Gander since 2009 and held roles of increasing responsibility including Director of Retail Operations, Vice President E-Commerce, Senior Vice President of Operations & E-Commerce and most recently Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer.
Eric R. Jacobsen
Executive Vice President/Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel
Eric R. Jacobsen was promoted to Executive Vice President/Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel in October 2015. He joined Gander Mountain in May 2005 as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary and was promoted to Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary in January 2009. Mr. Jacobsen is responsible for cost center optimization, financing and leasing, real estate site selection, risk management, legal and regulatory affairs. Prior to Gander Mountain, he served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Northwestern Corporation and, before that, served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Lodgenet Entertainment Corporation. Previously, he was a partner in the law firm of Manatt, Phelps and Phillips, Los Angeles, California, specializing in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Jacobsen holds a JD-MBA degree from the University of Southern California.
Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer
Jay Tibbets was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in October 2015 and is responsible for Merchandising, Planning and Supply Chain Management across all channels. Mr. Tibbets was promoted in June 2015 to the role of Senior Vice President; Planning, Supply Chain and Hardlines Merchandising. Mr. Tibbets joined Gander Mountain in March 2015 as Vice President Hardlines Merchandising and was previously the President of ATK Sporting Group, a leading supplier of ammunition, firearms, and accessories to the outdoor market. Before joining the corporate workforce, Mr. Tibbets served 22 years in the U.S. Marine Corps as an Ammunition Officer and is a certified Defense Systems Acquisition Professional in Program Management. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management Science from the University of Minnesota.
Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President - Human Resources
Carissa Rollins joined Gander Mountain as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer in September 2015 and was promoted to Executive Vice President – Human Resources in June 2016. Ms. Rollins oversees all aspects of the Company’s technology and information systems, omni-channel initiatives, cyber-security, and enterprise data and business analytics and leads Gander Mountain’s Human Resources function. Ms. Rollins comes from Kohl’s Corporation where for five years she served in roles of increasing responsibility in the Information Technology department, most recently as Vice President - IT, Enterprise Information Management. Ms. Rollins holds MBA and Bachelor of Science - Management Information Systems degrees from Marquette University.
Brian D. Kohlbeck
Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Brian Kohlbeck joined Gander Mountain as Senior Vice President – Chief Financial Officer in October 2015. Mr. Kohlbeck is responsible for all aspects of financial and business reporting, budgeting and forecasting, audit and treasury, business analysis and capital allocation. Mr. Kohlbeck comes to Gander Mountain from Lands’ End where he was Vice President – Business Finance responsible for overall financial management of that firm’s direct and retail business units. Prior to that, Mr. Kohlbeck served 10 years in roles of increasing responsibility in finance with Best Buy, most recently as Senior Finance Director – Best Buy Stores, and prior to that at General Mills, most recently as Senior Finance Manager. He is a Captain in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Kohlbeck holds an MBA from the University of Dayton.
Executive Vice President - Store Design and Development
Lisa Schmidt was promoted to Executive Vice President - Store Design and Development in October 2015 and is responsible for Retail Store Design, Visual Merchandising, and Merchandise Space Planning. Ms. Schmidt has been with Gander since 2000, spending nine years in Gander Mountain stores in roles with increasing responsibility as Department Manager, Assistant Manager and Store Manager. In 2009, Ms. Schmidt joined the headquarters team and has held roles of increasing responsibility as Visual Merchandiser, Manager of Visual Merchandising, Director of Visual & Store Design, Vice President of Visual Merchandising and Store Design and most recently Senior Vice President, Facilities, Visual and Store Design.
Jeffery D. Csuy
Senior Vice President, Softlines Merchandising & Product Development
Jeffery Csuy joined Gander Mountain as Senior Vice President, Softlines Merchandising and Product Development in June 2016, and is responsible for Apparel, Footwear and all Product Development. Prior to joining Gander Mountain, Mr. Csuy spent eight years at Shopko Stores, most recently serving as Chief Merchandising Officer, and previous to that spent seven years with Stage Stores with the majority of his time in the role of Senior Vice President - General Merchandising Manager. Mr. Csuy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire.
Senior Vice President, Merchandising - Hardlines
Joe Fusaro joined Gander Mountain as Senior Vice President - Merchandising in November 2015. Mr. Fusaro is responsible for all aspects of Merchandising across Hunting, Fishing, Camping and Shooting Sports. Mr. Fusaro comes to Gander Mountain from Target Corporation where he was most recently Vice President - Merchandise Segmentation & Localization. He served over 20 years at Target across many roles with increasing responsibility. He led multi-billion dollar businesses in Home, Sporting Goods, Lawn & Patio, Hardware and Toys. He also served in leadership roles in Merchandise Operations and Merchandise Presentation. Mr. Fusaro holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management – Marketing from Brigham Young University.
Senior Vice President - Marketing and E-Commerce
Ronald Stoupa joined Gander Mountain as Senior Vice President - Marketing and E-Commerce in August 2016. Mr. Stoupa oversees all marketing and e-commerce functions, including brand development, customer engagement and omni-channel initiatives. Mr. Stoupa joined Gander Mountain from Sports Authority, where he served as Executive Vice President - Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Digital Officer. Prior to that engagement, Mr. Stoupa spent five years with The Pep Boys serving as Chief Marketing Officer and, before that, served as Director of Marketing for Bass Pro Shops. Mr. Stoupa holds an MBA from the University of Texas and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska.
Robert T. Walker
Senior Vice President - Retail Sales and Operations
Robert Walker joined Gander Mountain as Senior Vice President - Retail Sales and Operations in May 2016. Mr. Walker is responsible for all aspects of retail store operations nationwide. Mr. Walker joined Gander Mountain from Heartland Automotive (Jiffy Lube) where he served for three years as Executive Vice President - Retail Sales and Operations. Mr. Walker has extensive experience in executive leadership in retail, including serving as Senior Vice President - Retail Sales at Ashley Furniture, and Senior Vice President, Sales and Operations and Divisional President for Circuit City Stores, where he served for 15 years in increasing roles of responsibility.
