Q: What does it mean when an item is backordered?
A: An item is backordered when it is out of stock in our distribution center and is awaiting replenishment. There are times when an item may sell better than expected, and although we do our best to keep everything in stock at all times, delays can happen. When you order an item and it goes on backorder, your card will not be charged until the item comes in stock and we ship it to you. Additional items on your order that are in stock will ship as normal. You are not charged any extra shipping for backordered items.

Q: How long will my items stay in my shopping cart?
A: items will remain in your cart for 15 days. Gander Mtn. Academy reservations will remain in your cart for 30 minutes. After the stated time has passed, the items will automatically be removed.

Q: What is a promotional code?
A: Promotional codes allow you to apply special offers or discounts to your order. These codes are usually available for a limited time and may be advertised through our catalogs, emails, stores, web sites, or promotional mailings. A promotional code is also referred to as a catalog code, which can be found on the back of your catalog highlighted in yellow (above your name and address).

To order by mail, just fill out the order form from your most recent catalog. We accept credit card, check, or money orders when you order by mail. Gander Mountain will not accept post-dated, counter or third party checks. All orders paid by personal check will be shipped within one business day. All checks received will be processed through our check guarantee service.
