Large Venison Roast

 

Try this recipe in a crock-pot while you're at work or before a day of hunting. My kids just love it! When you come home from work or your hunt you will be greeted by a wonderful aroma. I get asked for this recipe all the time.

Serves: 6

1 Large venison roast (or beef)
3 Fresh green peppers
5 Cloves of garlic
4 Cups of water
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
2 Tbls. olive oil
2 Tbls. soy sauce
Red pepper flakes if you like it HOT!

Cut "x's" in roast and place garlic cloves inside. Place roast in crock-pot along with onions and green peppers cut in wedges. Add water and the rest of the ingredients. Slow cook all day long! Serve on buns, rolls or over mashed potatoes.
